Sinus infections! I love the feeling of having no energy. I love not being able to breathe. I love feel like there is a weight on my head. I love being completely stuffed up. Finally, I love my throat being swollen shut. Luckily for me I’m exceptionally prone to getting sinus infections.

I would actually kill to have Jeremy Wade’s job

I would actually kill to have Jeremy Wade’s job

I can’t even begin to describe how I feel about today. I had so many fun moments that stemmed from just doing things I love to do. Then being completely disappointed and embarrassed over something that shouldn’t have such a big impact on me. And my night ended with being 100%, completely disgusted with the behavior of someone. I have actually never been as angry at the way someone has talked and treated people as I was tonight. What a great way to end a day— anger and disappointment.

I don’t know what I do but every time I like someone something ends up getting screwed up. Half the time it’s not even from something I’ve done. I’m a cursed soul.

My favorite animal is the elephant… they are the most beautiful animals ever…

For the past two days I have read and watched truly disturbing things about how elephants are treated in the circus.  Not that any animal abuse in the circus (or anywhere else) is acceptable, but their treatment of elephants in particular makes my stomach turn.  I have always viewed them as majestic, beautiful creatures and why anyone would disrespect them, or any animal, is beyond anything I can comprehend.  So here’s some information about how and why Hindus worship elephants… I needed to read it to ease my mind. :)

Elephant Festivals in India

Hindus celebrate elephant festivals in order to pay homage to the elephants or to Ganapati (Ganesha), the Hindu god that has the head of an elephant. The traditional elephant festival happens in March in the city of Jaipur, it is a procession of beautifully adorned female elephants that attracts tourists from all over the globe.

The Ganesh festival happens between August and September and lasts ten days. Although this festival is celebrated in many different cities, Maharashtra is known for its festivities. During the celebrations, many images of Ganesh are made so that people can buy them and keep them in their houses for ten days, when finally they take the images to the river. This is a very beautiful ceremony.”

This afternoon I had about 30 minutes of absolute happiness and perfection. Then practice started sucking at the end like always. Then everything was perfect again. And now everything is starting to suck.
